invented. This is your opportunity to work in a field that only a very
select few people ever experience.
Current Available Positions: Position:

work on your own free time to complete a project by a set deadline. The hours are flexible
to allow you to work elsewhere or study as a student.

hours to draw up a design depending on your drawing ability and speed.
Job Description: Each year, Corn Mazes America creates corn mazes around
the country. Our maze designers specialize in designing mazes, not original
artwork. Our designers take a sketch, photograph, or outline created by an
artist and redraw it to incorporate the many elements that make a maze
challenging. Therefore, we need someone who can design original sketches based
on a specific topic such as 'a farm scene' or 'a pirate ship'. These pictures
are not necessarily complex drawings. In fact, many would consider them to be
similar to a coloring book. The pictures must be eye appealing with details such
as shading or color, thus making it look like a blank coloring book page. The image designed by the artist is mainly an outline.

Original Artist Sketch
Maze Designer Modification After the sketch is drawn by the artist,
the maze designer will ask for any revisions or changes based on the preferences
of the maze owner. The maze designer, not the artist, will then design the maze,
scale the maze to fit specific fields, lay out the maze on special graph paper
to allow maze cutting, and complete any other work regarding the creation of the
maze. To apply: Fill out the application and return via email or
regular mail using the addresses listed in the application. You may include up
to two samples of your artwork (please send copies since originals cannot be
returned) with your application. Photographs of the work is acceptable.
